Resort Incanto, Costa do Sauípe complex
The renewal of the new shared-ownership area represents a strategic step in the evolution of a major tourist complex on the coast of Bahia. The project repositions the territory through the qualification of open spaces, the expansion of leisure experiences, and the creation of an aspirational landscape connected to the local nature and the tropical imagination.
The proposal is grounded in the understanding that, in large-scale tourism developments, open space plays a leading role — a place where memories, emotional bonds, and identity are built. Landscape architecture therefore goes beyond an aesthetic function, assuming a central role in articulating innovation, functionality, and a sense of belonging.
The system of outdoor areas is designed in an integrated manner, with landscape and architecture working together. Beach-style pools, with organic forms, varied depths, and areas for staying and leisure, function as extensions of the natural territory. They connect to shaded pergolas, lounges, decks, and custom urban furniture — such as benches, loungers, and playful structures — designed to provide comfort, appropriation, and a strong sense of identity.
The landscape framework organizes flows between the different hubs of the complex, promoting walkability, fluid movement, and moments of discovery along the routes. These paths incorporate children’s spaces, playful and sports areas, designed to serve different age groups and encourage social interaction.
The tropical garden is composed of native and climate-adapted species, with a focus on controlled lushness, efficient maintenance, and strong environmental performance. The vegetation contributes to thermal comfort, shading, and visual framing, reinforcing a sense of refuge and connection with nature.
More than a physical expansion, the project proposes the renewal of the tourist experience, aligning leisure, landscape, and the real estate product. A design approach that translates contemporary tourism as a sensitive construction of territory — sustainable, functional, and emotionally engaging.
Landscape is strategy: it creates desire, shapes experiences, and sustains the performance of a living, unforgettable destination.
